From Europe www.ltu.de and www.condor.com are flying. LTU has direct flights from Dusseldorf (Germany) to el Catey-Samana. Returnflight will go over Puerto Plata. From Canada Air Transat and Sky Service are flying. From Italy Neos is coming. More carriers are coming.

At this moment there are no carriers from the US.

  • Terminal from 81.000m2 in 2 levels.
  • Access road from 1.3km and 7,5m wide.

This new international airport at El Catey will open the Samana region for the rest of the world. Samana is at this moment rather unknown to the world. The Dominican Republic is famous for Punta Cana, Bavaro and Puerto Plata.

The Samana peninsula is in the north east from the Dominican Republic. It has the most beautiful beaches, probably from the Caribbean. Around 35km of unspoiled beaches… Samana has a very green vegetation, sandy beaches and tropical climate. A big part from Samana is with hills, so from a lot of points you can have a beautiful views.

Samana in NOT a region with the superbig all-inclusive resort, which you find in Punta Cana. Most of the hotels and guesthouses are small.

Las Terrenas: a small village at Samana peninsula. 10 years ago a small fishing village and at this moment the fastest growing place in Samana. Around 2500 foreigners live here all year around. Las Terrenas is growing.

Las Terrenas Real Estate & Properties

Las Terrenas in Samana at the Dominican Republic: at this moment probably the best place to invest in real estate and properties.

Around 2500 foreigners already where before you. Las Terrenas is a residential area. It´s not like Punta Cana and Bavara, everything full with the superbig all-inclusive resorts. Las Terrenas is a small village with small hotels and guesthouses and… around 3o km of unspoiled beaches.
